Common questions
How does Sunscroll work?
The apps you choose share one daily time: the sky. As you use them, clouds drift in, and when the time is used up the sky is full and those apps rest until 6:00 am. When you really need one, a short pause with the sun (a few slow breaths or a small game) opens them for 5, 10 or 30 minutes. A breeze is a focus session you start on purpose, and Night is an optional mode that rests your apps overnight.
Why does Sunscroll need Screen Time access?
To count time and to rest the apps you choose. All of it happens on your iPhone. If you turned the access off, turn it back on in Settings › Screen Time › Apps with Screen Time Access › Sunscroll.
An app stays open during a breeze
A breeze rests everything except what iOS always allows: Phone, Settings, Sunscroll and your Always Allowed apps (Settings › Screen Time › Always Allowed). To keep an app open during a breeze, add it there.
I see a grey “Restricted” screen instead of the sun
Sometimes iOS shows its own screen in place of ours. Close the app and open it again.
Notifications don’t appear
A Focus may be holding them. Allow Sunscroll in the Focus settings.
